Deborah Coleman is an award-winning photographer and visual storyteller. 

For over twenty years, Deborah has focused on telling the stories of people who impact the world, ranging from photographing presidents and heads of state for the White House Photo Office during the Clinton administration, to documenting the stories of the filmmakers, artists, animators and actors at Pixar Animation Studios. At Pixar, she works closely with the PR and marketing teams, filmmakers and film executives to design, develop and deliver top quality visual campaigns to press and media around the world. She has also captured Buzz Lightyear being inducted into Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the development and opening of Cars Land at Disney California Adventures, and composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (from Nine Inch Nails) and Jon Batiste develop the music score for the Academy Award-winning animated film Soul.

Her photography work has been published in Vanity Fair, Wired, Variety, Vogue, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and in the exhibit PIXAR: 25 Years of Animation at the Oakland Museum of California. Her work has also been featured in films including Leslie Iwerks’ The Pixar Story, and in books including Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull and To Infinity and Beyond: The Story of Pixar Animation Studios.

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from UC Davis, and worked as a staff photographer at The Contra Costa Times (California), Fort Worth Star Telegram (Texas), and The Palm Beach Post (Florida).
