Victoria and Colin had the quintessential romantic San Francisco wedding. Guests flew into the city from all over the U.S., including most of Colin’s family from Massachusetts, and kicked off the wedding weekend in their cocktail best with a prelude celebration at the Asian Art Museum. The following evening, Victoria and Colin were married in the gorgeous Grace Cathedral, including The Cathedral Camerata, a full choir, singing original music by Colin’s grandfather, the choral composer Randall Thompson. Victoria reminded me of a young Elizabeth Taylor, with her swept back black hair and delicate pearls.
After their moving ceremony, the newlyweds and guests whisked down the street in the rain to the classy Mark Hopkins Hotel for the reception. Victoria changed into another dress towards the end of the evening and it seemed like all 200 guests were on the dance floor thanks to the excellent deejaying by the talented Vinnie Esparza.
Vic and Colin, thanks for trusting me to photograph your epic wedding weekend. The way both of you moved throughout the day was as if you were walking on air; it was a beautiful day to witness and capture.
I love your use of environment light. Very well composed photos. The B/G should be proud.
