Kathryn and Chris first met at work where they are both tax accountants. Although they will say it was love at first sight, they were friends for eight years before going on their first date. Plus, they needed to check HR Policy 236. After a little over a year as a couple, they then planned their wedding in less than three months. Some would say the wedding was a long time coming despite the short planning timeline.
For their wedding they chose Hotel Zeppelin, which is set in a historic downtown San Francisco building but has a stylish counterculture vibe. The hotel was previously a restaurant and Kathryn and Chris’ wedding was the first one held at Hotel Zeppelin. Family surrounded the couple for their wedding ceremony and toasted them during dinner. The toasts given by Chris’ brother, Kathryn’s sister and their parents brought tears to everyone’s eyes every time — sometimes because of so much laughter (Chris’ brother roasted him about his various hair styles before he met Kathryn) and tears of joy (Kathryn’s sister shared stories about their tight sister bond.) After the meal, Kathryn and Chris’ friends joined them for cocktails and dancing.
Chris’ smile is contagious, especially when he locks eyes on Kathryn. The two of them were often giggling during their wedding day with such pure happiness.
