Headlands Center for the Arts is typically fogged in due to its location in Marin, however the grey weather is a photographer’s dream. I like that the place always feels moody and mysterious. In particular, I love photographing weddings at Headlands because there is a room on the second floor with peeling yellow painted walls and big windows with nice natural light that I could spend hours and hours in taking portraits of couples. The resident caterer, Katie Powers, is super talented and always a pleasure to work with at weddings too.
