Set amid a redwood forest, the unassuming Piedmont Community Hall in the Oakland Hills is one of the best outdoor weddings venues in the Bay Area. The Mediterranean style hall is great for big dance receptions, while the connecting courtyard surrounded by trees feels intimate for eating dinner under the stars. I’ll admit, another reason I love photographing weddings at Piedmont Community Hall is because Jarett and I got married here.
