“Pencil to Pixel,” an exhibit at the Oakland International Airport, examines the unique process Pixar Animation Studios uses to create animated films. Audiences are able to follow the evolution of a single character, Lotso from “Toy Story 3.” This exhibit coincides with the larger exhibition, “PIXAR: 25 Years of Animation” at the Oakland Museum of California, through January 9, 2011. Some of my images from behind the scenes are featured in both exhibits.
